Why We Built This Site
Mississippi opens a great deal of court and law enforcement information to the public, and the difficulty is almost never the law. It is working out which desk keeps the piece you need. A warrant does not sit in one place in Copiah County. A judge signs it and that court keeps the file; the sheriff's office in Gallman may be holding it for service; a bench warrant for a missed date often belongs to the county justice court or to a municipal court in Crystal Springs, Hazlehurst, Wesson, Georgetown, or Beauregard rather than to the county at all. Once a grand jury indicts, the circuit clerk in Hazlehurst becomes the record keeper. No public warrant search or active list is published anywhere in this county, which makes the wrong first phone call cost real time. This site pulls the addresses, phone numbers, request routes, and court distinctions into one place so you can begin at the right counter.

- Outstanding warrants: what checking for active warrants involves when no roster is posted

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no tie to any Mississippi court, clerk, sheriff's office, or state agency. The limits are worth stating plainly:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anybody, or run an official check
- We cannot recall, quash, clear, or remove a warrant from any system
- We cannot take payment of any kind or post bond
- We cannot schedule a court date or arrange a surrender
- We cannot advise you on the law or on how a particular warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that every number, fee, or office detail here is current at this moment
The court that issued the warrant, or the Copiah County Sheriff's Office holding it for service, is the only source that can say whether a warrant exists and whether a judge has recalled it. We can get you to the right door; the answer has to come from behind it.
Search Partners
Certain pages carry search boxes operated by outside companies. Those firms run their own services and set their own prices. Where one of those tools leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, and that revenue is what keeps this site free to read. We have no say in what they charge or what their results contain, and nothing they return counts as an official Mississippi warrant check.
